Had a strange dream last night in which I popped along to the local cinema to watch a film (silly title something Prometheus 2: Revenge of the Vagina TrouserSnake or something similarly strange).
Anyway, having paid for the tickets, the cinema said that they were running a beta service in screen 1 which – surprise surprise – was where I had to go to watch the film. And that’s when things went wrong.
First of all I couldn’t see or hear the film. A few other patrons were enjoying it (and laughing like loons), but for me – nothing. I complained to the manager who told me that my eyes and ears were obviously incompatible with the projection system and that I had to have them pulled out/off and new ones installed.
After complaining that my eyes and ears were perfectly fine and that I could watch other films in other cinemas just fine, he pulled out a hoop and a whip and had me running around the cinema jumping through the hoop, whipping me all the while.
Hmm. I wonder what that dream was all about? I wonder..
