Thoughts on Apple's new toys

As a M4 Mac Mini, iPhone 16 Pro Max, AirPods Pro 2, Apple Watch Ultra 2, MacBook Air, Apple TV 4K and HomePod Mini user - today's events were very much of interest to me.  The one thing that stood out was the new crossbody strap for the iPhone 17 range.  Seems like a good idea, but with phone muggings on the rise, I feel this is simply asking for trouble.  Definitely not for city use - and especially in tourist areas.  Would be interest to see if AppleCare's Lost & Theft policies catered for thefts attributed to the strap.

It'll be interesting to see how well the live translation feature of the AirPods Pro 3 work - not that I have any immediate plans to go abroad - but it's a step in the right direction.  I'm still happy with my AirPods Pro 2, to be honest.  And similarly with my Apple Watch Ultra 2.  And even the iPhone 16 Pro Max is still chugging along nicely.
